Structural Inspection of Exhaust Stacks

GMEC Solutions Limited completes the comprehensive annual structural inspection of the exhaust stacks, associated ducting and fan assemblies for CEMEX throughout the UK. This is completed on over 35 of their asphalt, drystone and mortar production processes. The inspection includes ultrasonic thickness assessment of the stack structure and also fan casing to assess wear and corrosion effects and to provide a detailed report with findings and recommendations. Through GMEC Solutions Limited the engineer provided is not only competant to complete the structural assessment of the equipment but is also competant to gain safe access be it via a MEWP with IPAF operators training or via mobile crane and man riding basket as the Appointed Person to plan and supervise the lift required, therefore a turnkey operation with minimal draw on site personnel and operations.
